About

Public water park at Central Park offering free summer fun for kids and families.

As an outdoor splash pad, specific pool temperature information is generally not available. The water used is typically unheated municipal water, with its temperature fluctuating based on ambient air and ground conditions.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The splash pad is generally seen as a good resource for families with toddlers, providing a fun outdoor water activity. Visitors often recommend packing a lunch or getting food locally and suggest bringing an umbrella for additional shade, as dedicated shaded areas are limited. However, there are significant concerns about the presence of dogs in the splash pad, with some finding it dangerous for children. One review also noted an instance where the water inexplicably turned off during posted operating hours, cutting visits short.

I wasn't even here. Traffic so bad on Lincolnway that I sat at a stoplight long enough Google thought I was at the splash pad in the rain in April.

My poor little neighbor lady needed to get out of the house, and she's never been, so I took her and her little lap dog 😆. So we found a nice bench in the shade, got some Designer Desserts, and hung out. I think it's a really nice resource for the parents who have toddler-age kids who obviously aren't going to a water park. Also, there were several moms who had a good idea to pack a lunch.

5 stars until the splash pad turned off for unknown reason. Posted sign listed 10-7pm as hours, we arrived about 1130, we were able to enjoy ourselveshad about 20 minutes when the water went out. Waited 10 minutes and unfortunately had to leave to find another outdoor water activity...Lake front here we come!

We love going to the splash pad. I wish there was more shades areas, but bring an umbrella and you should be ok. Pack a lunch or grab something local. Great family fun days!
