The Ave Maria Water Park is a private, resort-style amenity located within the Ave Maria master-planned community. Exclusively available to residents, it features multiple aquatic attractions including a large resort pool, lap lanes, exciting water slides, and a dedicated splash and play area designed for children, providing a comprehensive recreational experience.
While specific, real-time pool temperatures for the Ave Maria Water Park are not publicly disclosed, it is common for resort-style pools in master-planned communities in Florida to be heated, particularly during cooler months, to ensure year-round comfort for residents.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The water park is generally well-regarded, especially by families with children, offering a clean main pool, fun water park, and a modest environment. Patrons appreciate the friendly staff and lifeguards, as well as the effective swim lessons provided. However, several common complaints emerge, primarily concerning lifeguard availability, which leads to slides being closed on weekdays and a perceived lack of presence in key areas like the kids' section. Other issues include maintenance concerns such as sand in the main pool, insufficient and broken shaded seating, ant problems, and a scarcity of garbage cans. Visitors also expressed a desire for extended evening hours for swimming and more family-friendly events. Additionally, some adult users feel unappreciated and restricted despite their annual payments.

The slides are closed on the weekdays due to only having lifeguards on weekends. Pool was nice, clean tables and chairs, was mostly empty when I went. $5 per resident and $7 for guests, babies under 3 are free, I believe.
We love going to the waterpark! The kids area took awhile for repairs but it’s great for our boys to play and use the water slides. The pool is clean; however there is sand at the bottom of the large pool. My only complaint is that there aren’t enough tables and chairs with umbrellas. Most of the umbrellas are broken or don’t open all the way. There is a huge ant problem by some of the tables. There also isn’t enough garbage cans around the deck which makes it quite a hike to throw away garbage. As much as we pay the Master Association, I feel like certain things I’ve listed could be upgraded. Don’t get me wrong I love going with my family, but wish the beautiful views matched the vibe. I also wish the hours were a bit later in the evening for night swimming especially during the summer. I would also suggest more family friendly events such as a movie night by the pool or theme nights. Overall, it’s a great facility and one of the best things about living in Ave Maria.
Liked it at first, but ended up disliking a lot. There isn’t much to do here and everywhere there is something to do no life guards appear. When you ask them they still don’t appear when their signs seriously to request and they’ll come over. Have a life guard in the kid section when majority of the people here are kids!!
Absolutely love the water park! This is a great place to take kids during the summer heat, the main pool, water park are fun and well kept to enjoy with the kids. The staff and lifeguards are extremely friendly, I have been so impressed by the lessons they put on for kids and how quickly my children have learned to swim. For those wanting a modest place to take kids, and not have to worry about scandalizing your children with scantily clad bikinis, then this is the place to go. Most importantly it’s nice to see that modesty is enforced.
Adults are unappreciated and restricted from usage even while paying annually. Wish Kellie Powell was still the manager!
