What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed view of the pool. Several patrons reported highly negative experiences with an older female manager (described as having a knee brace), citing unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and snarky behavior, including yelling at children, which caused many to leave and vow not to return. Other negative feedback includes issues with inconsistent entry policies, unhelpful staff regarding capacity, and a lack of clear contact information for supervisors. Conversely, some positive reviews commend the pool for being clean, friendly, and reliably open during posted hours, contrasting it favorably with other local facilities. There was also a positive note about older children demonstrating patience with smaller ones, and a mixed comment regarding swimming lesson ratios.

There is an older white woman with a knee brace who the staff said was a manager. She was not in lifeguard attire, but “preforming” lifeguard duties. Her behavior was completely unprofessional, and her actions caused nearly all the swimmers present to leave on the spot. She was yelling at children, and being extremely disrespectful. I will not be allowing my children back until she’s removed and I would advise anyone who decides to swim there to not to go if she is on duty. Potter and Cannon Pools are a much more professional option.
I didn't know it was going to be 1 adult and a lot of kids doing these swimming lessons. My grandson is having fun, but I hope he learns to swim independently. The kids are showing great patience and gentleness with the smaller children.
The lady with the knee brace right off the bat was extremely rude and had an attitude. Very snarky not going back! Don’t take your kids here. HORRIBLE customer service.
We were refused entry and we given the excuse that they were at capacity. Even though 2 teens were leaving at the same time we were arriving. My children were crying and we sat down to wait. 15 minutes later, someone else left. The "staff" member did not speak a word to us! Then, an older man walked in and went to the desk, paid and went right in! I asked why that gentleman didnt have to wait!? The kid says, well 1 person left so I let 1 person in! I said ummmm, just how're we EVER going to have a spot?? There would never be enough open for our family that way. The kid smirked, didn't care at all, and told me his supervisor was Sandy. No last name, no way to contact this person. I will be calling the city to find out! How dare a couple of grown people sit by and let children cry by purposefully keeping them out of the pool?
This is a great pool! It is clean, friendly and it is open during the hours that are posted. The pool on Cannon AFB is once again closed for "maintenance". Hah! Read that is for "convenience". So, just as we have done before, we made the 20-minute drive into Clovis, NM and had a great swim. Because I am a lifeguard in Fort Collins, CO, they gave us a free 20-punch pass. My wife and I use it whenever we are visiting our son and DIL at Cannon AFB.
