About

The DZ Aquatic Center, located at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico, is an indoor aquatic facility primarily serving military personnel, their families, and authorized patrons. It provides a range of activities including lap swimming, open swim, and often hosts swim lessons and water aerobics, serving as a vital recreational and fitness resource for the base community.

Specific pool temperatures for the DZ Aquatic Center are not explicitly stated in readily available public information.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool generally receives excellent reviews, praised as the best in the area and great for kids. It offers numerous amenities including a fun water slide, kiddie/baby pools, lap swim areas (7 lanes, 50 yards), two diving boards/springboards, lounge chairs, pavilions, and locker rooms. Lifeguards are noted as nice and funny, and military members enjoy free admission. For safety, children under a certain age must pass a swim test or wear a life jacket to access the deep end. However, there is significant negative feedback regarding the food service, specifically long wait times (often 30 minutes or more) for ordering and receiving items like ice cream, accompanied by issues with machines and perceived poor service at the food stand.

Excellent pool on base! There is a fun water slide, a kiddie pool, lounge chairs, and lap swim areas. If your child passes the swim test, they can use the diving board and go in the deep end. Free for military members.

Amazing place, life gards are nice and funny, 2 diving boards, a water slide, baby pool, pavilions, and locker rooms. Kids under a certain age have to ware a life jacket or take a swimming test in order to go in the deep end so i strongly suggest checking at the gate.

I'd give this place a 0 if i could for the wait time on the food .Everytime we come it seems like we have to wait an hour for our food an that doesn't include the wait time to order . Today i ordered one ice cream cone , took them about 10 to 15 minutes to take my order then another 10 minutes for the lady to acknowledge i was standing there waiting for an ice cream cone .Then the machine was freezing up ? So the lady had to go get more ice cream mix an pour it into the machine so anyway when i finally got my ice cream the lady said this was all she could get out of the machine an asked if i wanted vanilla .If you want to wait 30 minutes or more for a tiny ice cream come here ..otherwise go somewhere else .
