What are people saying (AI review summary)? This establishment is generally seen as a fun and relaxing spot, praised for its clean facility, friendly and welcoming staff, and amenities like a lazy river, games, TVs, swim-up bar, and various lounging options (bean bag chairs, bungalows, cabanas). Food is often noted as pretty good, and some reviewers enjoyed the music and overall vibe. However, significant concerns were raised, primarily regarding the authenticity and quality of alcoholic beverages, with multiple reports of suspected fake liquor leading to illness. Other common complaints include high prices for entry (especially considering the small lazy river), overpriced and overly sweet drinks, restrictions on bringing in personal items like water or towels, and the necessity to rent lockers or expensive cabanas for securing belongings. While some recommend it for a relaxing getaway, others find it to be overpriced for the value offered.

Great place to relax and conveniently located. Management is professional and kind. Recommend to anyone wanting to relax in Brazos County.
Such a fun and relaxing place to hang out with fellow pool lovers. Games, TVs, lazy river, lounging, swim up bar, pizza/ food bar...overall a great time. I wish they'd allow you to bring in your own water and towel services (even for a fee) would be great to consider adding/ allowing. Overall- a good time and worth a trip!
The cove is a cool place to cool off and kick back with friends. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was pretty good. They have bean bag chairs for lounging or you can reserve a bungalow with plunge pool, or a shaded cabana. My problem was with the music, bottle service, and shots. The music was terrible as other people have mentioned in their reviews. It was like a retirement party play list with a hit song mixed in here and there. My friend ordered shots of Hennessy but when the shots came they didn't look nor taste right. It was to light to be Hennessy and looked more like apple juice. We ordered two bottles for our group Tittos and Malibu, I drink Tittos ALL the time but what whatever they served us WAS NOT Tittos. I had 3 mixed drinks with Tittos throughout the day and then 1 shot of Tittos 5shortly before we got ready to leave, as soon as I took that shot I knew that I was not drinking Tittos! So we take the hour and half drive back to Houston and I felt fine about 30 minutes after getting home I just got sick and started vomiting. I have never in my life been sick like that from drink Tittos and I normally would've had more than 3 drinks. !!BEWARE OF THE LIQUOR HERE!!
Honestly I was almost deterred from going after reading the other reviews , mainly regarding racism but that was literally so far from the truth. Everyone was very warm, welcoming and helpful. The music and vibes were great as were the food and drinks. Use the other reviews as a guide but take them with a grain of salt and give it a shot before making a hasty decision and counting this place out. My boyfriend and I had a great time in the lazy river as well as playing the lawn games available. If we lived closer this place would be visited on the regular.
So, we had fun, but it's way overpriced for what is there. Lazy river is pretty small, drinks are too sweet and pricey, if you want to bring anything in and make sure it's safe, you must rent a *tiny* locker or spend $$$ on a cabana with a safe. If you plan on going more than once, I would get a season pass, however as of July 30, they no longer offered them for the season. Not a bad place just not worth $50/person.
