Nice older outdoor public pool. Would be great if they modernized it, but it's still a decent, clean and cheap way to cool off in the summer. There is a diving board and small climbing wall in the main pool and a separate shallow wading pool for younger children.

My grandkids are signed up for swimming lessons. The instructors are great with the children. The classes are small so there is a lot more hands on interaction between the kids and instructors. The facility is clean. The staff is very professional. I would recomend going there to cool down on a hot summer day.

The kids are having fun, but there is a lot of theft going on already this year. My kids keep getting their money stolen when they go. Some boys even took clothing and put them in the boys' shower, leaving the water running on them. We use to go to the Florence pool, but thought we'd try this one this year. With the Florence pool being 50% cheaper, it's worth the drive there at this point.

I came to the pool and has to walk between 5 young people which 3 were lifeguads.They were all on the phones not watching pools. I complained to Rec office someone did call them to do dif. After that the young man in charge started setting where he could stare at me until we left. I have been there several times since then with my grandkids and feel the life guards could watch better instead of talking and horsing around.
