What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Moberly pool generally offers a fun experience with attractions like water slides, a zero-entry area, a small lazy river, and a diving board, alongside reasonably priced concessions. Many visitors praise its high quality, fun atmosphere, and some highlight clean water and good temperatures, with lifeguards ensuring safety and enforcing rules. However, several significant concerns were raised, including inconsistent rule enforcement by lifeguards (e.g., ignoring dangerous play or public affection among teens while reprimanding adults for minor displays of affection or parents assisting children), unaddressed safety hazards like wet bathrooms leading to falls, and perceived poor management responses to concerns. Other complaints include the water sometimes being freezing cold, a policy requiring paying customers to exit for lifeguard swim time, an increased entrance fee of $6, and the rapid unavailability of cabana umbrellas. Improved seating was also suggested.

Love this pool! Water slides. Zero entry. Small lazy river. Diving board. Concessuin atea. What's not to love?
The Moberly pool is quite good. The entrance fee is now six dollars, which is a bit more expensive. The concessions are reasonably priced. The pool itself is high quality. Improved seating could be considered.
Went yesterday 07/11/25. Firstly, I slipped and fell in the bathroom due to water build up. My husband reported it and they said they would get someone in there to clean it. Not one person went in there. Secondly, group of kids were throwing a water football and struck 3 people. Not one thing was said by these lifeguards. My husband gave me a kiss and we got in trouble but yet you’ve got kids all over eachother and not one time was a whistle blown or were they told to stop. These kids go to school together. That was very clear. But, if you’re going to get on too GROWN ADULTS for showing affection, then it should be the same for everyone! This is the 3rd year we have gone thinking it it would be different. Last year, (my daughter who has poor vision) I got in trouble for standing at the end of the slide as my daughter went down. I took it to “management” and I got told if she can’t see well enough, she shouldn’t be going”. But my attitude was poor. Wouldn’t yours be too? I was beside myself. We still aren’t impressed.
Water temperature is always freezing cold but as a pool manager in the past, I don’t understand why they make the paying customers get out for the paid lifeguards to swim. This seems to me a bad policy needs to be looked into if I pay to go to the pool, I don’t pay to watch lifeguard swim my family having to sit out and watch them crazy.
We love this place. Super fun and super safe. Lifeguards don't let my kids get away with any shaningans. And that's a plus. The water is always clean and at a great temperature. The cabana umbrellas get taken pretty quick. We came in on a Friday at 12:08 and they were all taken so if you want one then be quick! Slides are great. It's not huge so I can rest in one place and still see my kid playing but it's big enough to get some space. We'll be back soon.
