Love going to Rothwell park. This state park has amazing features throughout the entire park. With several lakes to fish, paddle boat, canoe, and kayak to feeding the ducks in the bigger portion of the lake. The park has children features with swings, slides and other rideable devices, the aquatic center for swimming, the lodge for big engagement parties, an RV camping area inside the actual park, an several fields for baseball, tennis, soccer, and basketball. And did I mention the park is also equip for our furry family members with their very own dog park area! Amazing- this park has it all! Come take a peek! You have to take a couple of days to completely explore this park from one end to the other!
I enjoy going there and sit in the shade and read a book. I especially like going when the children are at a birthday party there! It's fun to see their reactions and see them playing in the water!
The city of moberly does so well with the moberly tax payers money and are so smart that they somehow cant afford or think of a way for the moberly aquatic center to have a phone line? Hmm if there was only way to do that?
The food was good most of the staff was nice and helpful except the one lady I asked for dipping butter for the crab was rude when she informed me that it was already salted.
Great staff. Always looking for ways to improve the already very nice park system and amenities.
