The most filthy place I've stayed. Water was brown. Walls in the bathroom were dirty. Hair all over the place. The towels look and feel 10 years old. The rooms at the Golden Moon haven't been updated in decades. The vibe inside the gaming area is depressing. The dealers hardly ever smile so it's easy to see they hate their job (my assumption). Pit bosses are rude. Sometimes they only have one waitress working an entire gaming floor. The poker room has the same people about every time you sit down. It's a terrible game. Some nights they don't even get enough players for 1 full table. My dad had his truck broken into and several items stolen. The casino could've cared less. Place reeks of cigarettes. Sometimes you go to the bar and the bartender is on break. They say 15 minutes, but sometimes it's actually 30. During that time you have patrons standing around looking at each other in disbelief. This place must get a state or government subsidy because they do not care about their customers.

With a holiday weekend you would think they had more staff on hand. Arrived and the front of the establishment was packed bumper to bumper. Line at check in was very long bc they only had 2 ppl on duty for check in. Got to room, water was brown, Walls dirty in bathroom, safe broken, few towels on hand. The atmosphere on the floor was subpar. Half of the help doesn't speak English. The waitresses were nice and friendly but some of the other staff was very rude and unwelcoming. The food is ridiculously high! And it seems as if the machines are not really giving any money away! The service and rooms have definitely declined badly since Covid.

We rented 5 rooms and the service was awful. We lugged 6 bags in while the person by the door didn’t even greet us or offer us a cart. When we asked for a cart, they said they didn’t have any. We specifically put one of the rooms in our friends name and had them get the cards ready with their name on it and they kept it at the counter for them. Our friends arrived late , around 3 am and they gave them the wrong key. They came back down to say that wasn’t the room and they said they didn’t know what to do. They waited 45 minutes before even getting it resolved without an apology or any sincerity. Never he service that bad before ,

The housekeeping service here is horrible. Upon checking in my room only had 1 set of towels, the Ac vents haven't been cleaned in probably years. No laundry bag. Floor hasn't been vacuumed. Sink be stopped up in most rooms. This is not only observed for this check in. It's every room and I've stayed in several. How can the housekeeping supervisor/ checker not see this after checking the rooms! My experience carry being a prior housekeeping supervisor and with over 25 years in housekeeping. Y'all could definitely use me. I feel for those that actually have to pay to stay in these rooms because they are not worth $400+ a night on any day.

Rooms were dated. Shampoo bottle had been opened and hardly any shampoo in it. In the casino, I'm used to seeing nice looking young cocktail waitresses. This place does truly believe in letting all ages work. I saw waitresses that could be my Grandmother and I'm in my 60s. Definitely do not hire for their looks because some of these were so ugly they were hard to look at. Service was mediocre at best. It is nice they have drink stations where you can make your own.
