The pool is valued for its convenience as a neighborhood amenity, offering a decent size, clean bathrooms, ample seating, and kid-friendly features like a beach-like entrance and a roped-off children's area. Lifeguards are generally considered good. However, frequent criticisms include high HOA fees, severe overcrowding on weekends, a lack of shade, and an excessive number of rules, especially regarding children's toys and flotation devices, which are often deemed frustrating and sometimes unclear. There are also occasional reports of unpleasant lifeguards.

It's nice having a pool within our neighborhood but the HOA fees are not. It is a decent size pool but with all the new home builds it gets very packed on the weekends. Most of the time the lifeguards are great but we've had a few that are not very pleasant. I also find all the rules regarding kids toys, flotation devices and goggles frustrating.

My friend lives in Mill Valley and invites my kiddos and I to visit with her and go to the pool. The bathrooms are clean, there are plenty of trash cans and stuff around. Lots of chairs. And it has the beach like entrance and a small ropes off area for kids. We really enjoy visiting.

Lacking on shade. Needs a posting on which child arm flotation devices are acceptable there, not just a heads up into a half hour visit.

They have so many rules (yes to keep kids safe...but come on. It's a lot much).
