What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews for the YMCA present a mixed bag of experiences. Several negative incidents highlight significant issues with customer service and operations, including unexpected past-due balances with rude and dismissive staff, confusing and inconsistently enforced ID requirements causing inconvenience, and a disastrous laser tag party reservation where the facility was inaccessible and staff unresponsive. Conversely, some positive feedback was noted, with one user praising the staff as excellent, efficient, and friendly for a birthday celebration, and another commending recent improvements in the pool facilities, such as working suit dryers, hot tubs, and slides, post-pandemic.

I called this morning to pay for another month of boxing and was unexpectedly told there was a past due balance from child care — with dates that didn’t align with our history. When I asked for more information, the staff member was dismissive and told me she had “other actual members” to assist and couldn’t help me further. Extremely rude and unprofessional. What’s even more frustrating is that I’ve visited the YMCA in person multiple times for other reasons, and not once was this supposed balance ever mentioned. If this was truly outstanding, why wasn’t it brought up before — and why now, without a clear explanation? Very disappointing experience. I expected better communication and customer service.
This place and it's staff is excellent, efficient and friendly. We were here with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. It was an excellent venue.
So the kids were excited to come back to YMCA. So I dropped them off with my older kids who is 20 . Was told they needed 🆔 . And adult who is over 18. I'm very confused. So we drove 20 min to get the 🆔. And back again . I have looked what I seen on line . I don't see we're it's saying 🆔 is required. To enter over 16 with 🆔. Requested by our bord . Please show me we're we seen other ppl enter with out showing 🆔 🪪 .
After taking a couple years off during the pandemic I tried the pool again today. Much better experience. Suit dryer working, hot tub and slide running. Great day. Glad to see things looking better than 2017.
Laser Tag private party reservations: terrible customer service. Awful management. Don't waste your money here! I reserved and paid for the laser tag location 10 days ahead of time. However, no one was there at the time of the party, the location wasn't even accessible, and no one knew anything about the reservation. It was a total waste of money and time. At last, the belated private birthday party was brief after some of the invited guests had already left. The staff in charge, Jalen Schlegel, had, apparently, more important things to do the day of the reservation and blatantly ignored my emails and phone calls. I'd never come back, and I strongly advise to stay away from this YMCA.
