I paid for 1 month swimming classes for my 2 year old daughter. I was assured that the staff are actually teaching kids how to swim. I attended only first class and said NEVER AGAIN. The lady who was our teacher even didn’t look at me or my daughter. My daughter is terrified of water and doesn’t matter how I was trying to make her play in the water she wouldn’t stop crying. No one cared. The “Teacher” talked to some moms, played with some kids, gave toys to everyone to play with and was just walking around and looking. I felt like this place is for people who don’t have a pool in the house so moms can come with their toddlers and play here. That’s it. I paid for nothing. I can teach her better in my own pool in my house.

My Name is Scott. I am a masters swimmer from Wisconsin. I swim 6 days a week. I was in Destin with my family on vacation and found this pool. I absolutely loved swimming in this pool! The staff was Great!! Also, I never had a problem getting a lane. Plus, for someone who has to swim indoor year round swimming outside was awesome! I'm ready to move to Florida and this would be a place I would join in a second! thank you for an awesome swimming experience!!! I truly hope your facility grows and I hope to be back! Scott C.

I highly recommend the Aquatic Center in Destin as a birthday party rental location and for their swim lessons. The staff is wonderful! We first visited last month for a party - they close all the pools and you have free range of the center when you book a birthday party. It’s really nice and private for your friends/family. After the party I signed my child up for swim lessons. The coaches are pros and great with young kids.
