I own a small business in Fort Walt Beach and My employee was weed whacking/edging and put a rock through a storm door shattered the glass and this was no ordinary door this was rated 140 MPH special tint on the inside, special gloves to install kind of piece of glass so called a few places and then I came across BJ’s and by golly he was out there the next day getting measurements and a week later had that damn door fixed…. great customer service very professional….actually did what he said he was going do it when he said he was gonna do it… 10/10 stars needless to say I know who I will be calling if I need any window door or screen work done!!!!
We called at 7 the morning after a snow storm collapsed screens on our pool enclosure. April answered despite the early hour and deluge of calls they received after the storm. Chris and April came out promptly to assess the damage and gave us much appreciated information about the latest in screen technology. Despite being overwhelmed with work, they got to us in a timely manner to complete a very professional job. In the process we got to know Chris, April, and Trey. They are just very nice people--a pleasure to talk with and have on the job. We cannot recommend B J Screens & Windows more strongly.
When a freak snow storm left the screens of our Florida pool enclosure shredded, Chris and his team at BJ's Screens came to the rescue. They did a great job of replacing all the enclosure screens and even repaired one of the doors. They left no trash and the enclosure looked great when they were done.
I had a very disappointing experience with BJ Screens. After waiting over six weeks, they refused to honor their approved quoted contract. Despite numerous attempts to contact them by phone, messages, and email, I received no response leaving me to start the entire process of getting bids over again. Very frustrating. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is unacceptable—I cannot recommend their services. UPDATE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: Thank you for your reply. As with any disagreement, there are always two sides, but I feel it’s essential to respectfully clarify the timeline and address a few inaccuracies, particularly the comment regarding my patience. The approved contract was finalized on February 25. Only after that point was I told to expect installation within approximately six weeks. On April 3—just over five weeks later—I had not received any update, so I left a detailed 50-second voicemail requesting a status update. I followed up with an email on April 7 asking for scheduling information. I called once more on April 11 but did not leave another voicemail, having already made multiple contact attempts. I received no response for the four weeks following that third attempt—no calls, emails, or updates. I received a phone call only after posting a Google review on May 13, expressing my frustration with the lack of communication. That call primarily focused on asking me to delete the review. Chris did acknowledge receiving both the phone call and the email (call log and email provided on request) and asked how he could make things right. By then, I had already moved forward with another company that followed through exactly as promised. I fully understand that weather delays can impact scheduling. However, the issue was not the delay itself—it was the complete lack of communication during and beyond the expected timeframe. A simple update would have gone a long way, and I would have gladly worked with you had there been minimal follow-through. Respectfully, a contract includes a commitment to the work and the obligation to communicate clearly and consistently, including updating your customers when you can’t meet an agreed-upon time frame. I wish you the best, and I hope this experience leads to improved communication with future customers.
BJ's Screens & Windows is top notch!! The work they completed at our place in Crestview, FL is truly amazing!! Their team is made up of professionals that know how to take care of their customers. We have full confidence in this company and will work with them in the future for sure!!
