It all depends how you see things honestly, to me it was a great deal and a good place to rest if you need something affordable. It is also close enough to stores and restaurants but far enough to isolate yourself if needed. The rooms are what they are get some sleep or start fresh if you need something with everything included. I moved from Phoenix Arizona to Decatur Texas so this place is good to start off if you have nowhere to go like me. Staff is great and does her job. Overall a good experience but not a place of luxury or a place to take the whole family. Just a quick get some sleep and move on.

The "OWNER" or claims that title is beyond rude and will not accommodate any needs including "service animal" for handicap. YOU CLAIM YOU OWN THIS PLACE AND CAN DO WANT YOU WANT, SO CAN I WITH A TRUTHFUL REVIEW ! Pictures on web site are not of this place and if they are its from 20+ yrs ago, its run down nasty dirty, bedding and towels are stained dingy, rooms stink of bug spray & from not being properly cleaned, in 3 rooms all the smoke detectors are broken & 1 just missing. Pool has not worked in years. We brought a crew of 12 plus people in for rooms with more going to follow over a period of several weeks for multiple days a week. (wind energy) We have notified our company and you will not receive any of our business again. So Ms. OWNER you own this you just lost between 30 to 50 rentals a week. Good luck and may God bless you ! Sincerely, NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

DO NOT!!! This woman was extremely rude I drive a pilot car and we had between 6-11 people who were going to stay there. Also, 1 of our drivers has certified service dogs and after taking her money told her no dogs AND DID NOT REFUND HER MONEY, said it was her motel and she would do whatever she wants. They lost allot of money today, not to mention the return visits. Also it advertises a pool, there is one but no water in it.

DO NOT USE OYO LODGING SERVICES. THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AND DO FALSE PROMISES. I did a prepaid reservation in Houston “OYO Hotel Decatur TX Hwy 287 Northwest.” WORST SERVICES EVER. No sure why they still having 2 stars, they even do not qualify for zero stars. They do not answer the phones and the “24-hour front desk” services, 100 percent FALSE. I finally got through a phone representative who knew nothing about this business, I informed him i was going to be around 11pm because an emergency. In the last minute I was told they close at 10PM??? It did not matter what I said they still closing. There is more to the story but in sum I finished sleeping at a Rest Area with the Truckers. I was not able to find another place and I was dead tired.

I came to stay at the Oyo in Decatur TX last weekend I wasn't in the room 5 mins saw 1 cockroach went to potty and looking right at me on the toilet paper was a huge one I was so mad and disgusted and dead ones in the fridge I'm disabled I packed my things loaded my car back went to office demanded my money back she gave me a refund receipt but it still got takin out my bank she was rude and she was mad at me I say there calling ringing bell no answer they wouldn't even answer the higher ups call trying to help me after midnight by then I had to find another motel I was so upset and still dealing with this DONT STAY THERE
