The ARC pool is wonderful. It is so neat and clean well maintained. The facilities are just too good.

The pool is good and much bigger than the one in CRCE. You can do lap swimming of different speed, but if there is too many people it becomes impossible and that's the main issue. I have never seen the pool actually overcrowded apart from the times when there are swimming lessons and other activities. At those times rhey close too many lines and all the people go to one or two which are open. And it is never clear when are those lessons before you actually come to the pool and see the board with all the lines closed. The only way I could check it before was by literally checking every single group fitness class and comparing the times after not being able to exercise several times.

The temp is a bit too cold. There are a lot of lanes available. If you don't go there at peak hours, you are likely to have an entire lane. Definitely better than CRCE

The pool is very nice and a good temperature for lap swimming, but it's odd that there is a deep part in the middle. It is clean on the pool deck and the locker rooms are well cleaned.

This is not a place for people who are different. Though this may be a perfectly suitable gym for the cookie cutter majority of the student body, for those of us that veer from the norm (particularly in gender and sexuality) we seek solace from judgement in our fitness centers, and yet I was met with judgement and disapproval from the front desk when the gay boy from Philly asked about the zumba class. There was no effort to meet me or to understand me, only to judge me. I haven't felt this humiliated since the judgments of my kindergarten peers (who, by now, have learned how to treat others that are different from them). Do not go here if you don't want to be judged, there are a number of really nice gyms in the area that are much more accommodating to people of all walks of life. I will not be returning.
