My wife and I stayed here this past weekend and had an amazing time. The owners are extremely kind and easy going. We had the Blackberry Blossom room and it is beautiful. The artwork is stunning. The breakfast both days was delicious and the timing on it was perfect. Definitely worth the money. Would recommend this place to anyone that wants a relaxing weekend away.
Lovely bed and breakfast in Springfield, Kentucky. Easy drive to a number of bourbon distilleries on the Bourbon trail, and close to Bardstown where we had a lot of activities. Rooms and common spaces were well maintained and sweeping views everywhere. Stayed here recently for Kentucky Derby. Good option away from the high prices of Louisville.
It was a clean and nice home. Bathroom down the hall was inconvenient to our room. No TV, a shocker this day and time! Location was in close proximity to local distilleries. Was looking for “southern hospitality “ and I did not find it here.
We stopped and spent the night at Wildflower to split traveling on our to visit our oldest son in Alabama. Rich was a great host. My husband, son, and I enjoyed his stories that took us through his and Carol's Art careers. The home is well appointed with art work both created or collected. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, sitting by the pool in the evening. Rich set the mood to create one of relaxation, that the three of us enjoyed. When bugs came out, we retreated to the very ornate common room. Guests will find unique reading material such as Abraham Lincoln poems. Finally sliding into bed, guests find the best sheets ever, like a big cloud of dreams! In the morning I discovered great hair products and body soap. For people who are vegan, they were conscience of supplying all products to accommodate. Breakfast and chocolates tied the bow to a great stay. Thank you Rich for a great evening and morning! We wish you and Carol a great remaining summer!
We had a lovely experience while staying at Wildflower Ranch Inn. The home is beautiful and well maintained. Every area was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in Tiger Lily and enjoyed our space and view! The only thing we may add is a television for a downtime entertainment option. The breakfasts were lovely and a good start to our day. I also enjoyed early morning walks right out the front door. The views are beautiful! Our favorite part, however, was getting to visit with Carol and learn more about her art. It was incredible to learn her story and have her share about her special art form. Truly inspiring! We definitely recommend a stay here and we hope to be back!
