Lifeguards received praise for their attentiveness and support, particularly regarding safety measures like swim tests and providing life jackets. However, several issues were highlighted: a significant lack of changing tables in restrooms, some restrooms being in a questionable state of cleanliness, incorrect operating hours being posted online, and instances of sudden, unexplained closures with inconsistent information from staff. Some visitors also wished for a longer operating season.

While my kids had a blast in the splash pool, I was actually surprised at the lack of changing tables. I know this might not seem like a big deal, but when you are changing little ones, you don't really want to change them out in public. And if there are no changing tables in the restroom, you don't want to put them on the floor, especially since some of the toilets were in a questionable state.

My family is visiting from Missouri. We came one day but they had closed due to lightning. We completely understood and came back the next day! It was an amazing experience. They require life jackets for anyone under the age of 12 (and provide them) unless they can pass a swim test 75 ft from one side to the other! Love this idea! Johnathan the life guard went above and beyond and rooted for the kids who were taking the swim test. Overall a great experience and whenever we are in town we will be back!

As of right now do not pay attention to the hours listed here or on the city website for they are wrong! I've been before & it was very nice. I took my granddaughter today & she absolutely loved being in the splash area. The pools & grounds are clean Around 1pm today the life guards turned off all the spray features. The life guards all gave me different explanations as to why. Finally, myself & the few other patrons were told the pool was closing until Monday.
