Lilia is truly a dream hostess! We've never stayed anywhere so welcoming, cheerful, and accommodating. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in and check-out were a breeze, and every detail was thoughtfully handled. Lilia is also an exceptional cook! Her French toast casserole, apple crisp, and biscuits with gravy were absolutely out of this world—every bite was better than the last. The perks made our stay even more memorable: complimentary wine and delicious snacks at 4 PM, and a cozy, beautifully appointed room. Parking was super convenient, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach and nestled in the charm of the historic Romar House. When I say everything was PERFECT, I genuinely mean it. We’re already planning our return! If you’re looking for a gracious hostess, exceptional hospitality, and a peaceful getaway with thoughtful extras, this is the place for you.

I brought my Ashley to this historic B&B for her birthday. We originally booked two nights. We loved it so much that we had to ask for an additional night. Ms. Lilia was kind to accommodate us and the perfect hostess. Every morning she cooked the most delicious breakfast that you could smell from your room. The property and house itself were charming. The private walkway to the beach, pool, and hot tub made the experience that much better. We stayed in two different rooms during our vacation. They were comfortable, clean, and well stocked. In the evenings we enjoyed wine and cheese with the other guests. We are looking forward to making this place a tradition for special occasions and coming back any chance we get. Thank you for everything, Ms. Lilia.

We love, love,love the Romar House...it's our go-to beach getaway! We stay in the Suite...lots of room, dark, quiet. Just steps from the beach. The breakfast is always amazing! The best part, though, is Lilia (your jostess) & all the interesting people we meet there. The Romar has many sitting areas where you can read, sleep, or hang out with the other guests. We hope to see you there sometime!!

My husband Rob and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing place on the panhandle and we are so blessed to have found this one. I cannot say enough about this place and the team! Lillia is a treasure and you can tell her passion is in making this place shine and her guests feel welcome. From the history of the place and the character to the intimate details and amenities, this is far best the place we've stayed in on the panhandle.This is definitely my husband and I'm new go to.

Beautiful historical place 😍 If you are looking for a place that has no charm but some AI to tell you what to "do today" this is not gonna be the right place for you lol. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a place with oodles of character and charm (not just from the hostess, Lilia) then this is where you HAVE TO COME TO! Each room has its own "theme", there is a covered porch, refreshing pool, private walkway to the beach, a bar, Lilia cooks the most amazing breakfast NO MICROWAVE FOOD HERE FOLKS, she cooks from scratch every morning! She does a wine & cheese gathering, as well as shindigs for special occasions. The Original Romar Bed & Breakfast offers the best of it ALL : beach, shops & ocean views but 2 things they have no one else does is the charm and Lilia. 😉 Take a trip you won't regret it 😉
