As a YMC member I've enjoyed the landing all summer. The staff is courteous, helpful and polite. Making our safety their first concern. The facility is state-of-the-art and well kept.

Great place to be when it’s not busy. Monday afternoon seems about half as busy as peak times. Would not recommend if busy. Facility is brand new. If you aren’t already a YMCA member, you will wait an ungodly amount of time in line when it’s busy. Good parking availability.

We love coming to the pool, though they continue working through being newly open. We have tried to go swimming multiple times, only to find that they are not open. There is nowhere to find this information, as the website states that they are open from 1-7 every day, but apparently that means when they feel like it. My kids are all old enough to be in the pool alone, but I will never sit away from the water. The guards are typically found singing and dancing or having conversations and not watching what is happening directly in front of them. There also aren't consistent rules, so people pretty much do whatever they want. Maybe the Y should reach out to/observe other water parks in the area to see what works for them and consider the trends in order to determine changes that they might implement?

As others mention the day pass/line/entry/wait time was very, very frustrating. I don’t see why there isn’t a way to purchase a day pass through their app and scan just like YMCA members. The facilities were clean and the options within the pool are good-especially for the price. However, what was frustrating was the lack of ability to do things. I have a 6 and 7 year old who both can swim, doesn’t matter. Unless they’re 8 they can’t go on the rock climbing wall and diving board and can only go in the lazy river or down slides with a parent…. Which can’t be managed with one parent and two kids under that age. Furthermore, there’s no ability to pass a swim test to include these options as part of the swimming experience. Age doesn’t make someone capable of jumping off a diving board…being able to swim does. These policies really impacted our ability to do much. We ended up leaving after 45 minutes (didn’t last as long as we waited) and went back to the pool we are members of and can do the slide and diving board without needing to be a certain age. If you have swimmers who don’t meet these age requirements… I’d pass for now as we were stopped at every activity and asked our age.

I know it just opened but there are definitely some learning curves and improvements that would make this a solid 5 starts vs the 3.5 I’d like to give. We were a half hour early. There is nothing saying one line is Y members and one is general admission- please paint that on the sidewalks. Also then all the non-Y members that were in the member line they let them just cut in front of those that were in the correct line and had been waiting so it was AN HOUR TOTAL to get in! If you are going to photo and ID everyone put up signs so we k ow what to expect and have a system and staff that can keep the line moving. The facility is beautiful and amenities are very nice. Need more trash cans all around. A giant clock on the outside of the snack area building facing the pools would help with managing your kids, hydration, etc. love the astroturf! Lazy river is amazing. But please please please make sure you always have ice for your drinks! Over all a lovely facility but will have to make sure I can dedicate the time to get in. There was always a long line to get in and we were there 3+ hours
