What are people saying (AI review summary)? The golf course is consistently described as challenging and currently in good to very good shape, with well-kept greens, offering good value for money. While check-in and pro shop staff are generally praised for their friendliness and service, experiences with the restaurant/bar area are mixed. Some found the bar, food, and service exceptional, viewing it as a great neighborhood spot, though acknowledging it needs a refresh to return to its past glory days. However, one review reported a very negative experience with filthy tables and unhelpful, rude waitstaff, leading them to leave without dining.

It was a pretty cold morning with a wind gusting up what made hard to warm up. Checkin was a smooth and friendly. Golf course is a very challenging and requires skill above average golfer. Greens are in good shape and challenging. Overall golf course is In good shape and value for what we paid is there.
It was a great course back in the 1980s & 1990s and the restaurant and bar were wonderful places to have some drinks and have a fantastic meal. I liked the restaurant so much for lunch on weekdays, that I proposed to my former wife one afternoon while having a meal there. Since then I have only played the course several times and visited the bar and ordered sandwiches , I have never been back in the restaurant because it wasn't open. The course has had it's ups & downs throughout the years, but it's a challenging course and recently it's been in much nicer shape than previously, thank you...It was one of the prime courses in the area back in the 80s & 90s and it would be nice to see it return to it's glory days. The bar, the food, and the service provided is exceptional.
First time visitors that live on the golf course. Sat to order and noticed the table was fithly. Asked waitress to please clean the sticky gross table. She told us that sticky stuff on the whole edge of the table couldn't be cleaned off it had to be sanded off. If the front of house is this dirty and excuses instead of action I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. So after getting an attitude from the waitress about cleaning the table we left and went to Bob Evans. P.S. get better waitress that cleans and doesn't expect you to eat at a gross table.
This review is for the bar/restaurant area. I like Pine Lakes but I think it has seen better days and is in need of a refresh. That being said, it's a great neighborhood watering hole and restaurant. Please check it out!
I just moved to the area and this was the first course I played. The staff is very friendly from the restaurant to the pro shop. Danny the head pro made sure we had a good time. Bryan the superintendent has done an excellent job on the course. The greens are well kept and we enjoyed our round.
