Family-friendly park with a playground and a splash pad.
Splash pads, including Sand Point Park Splash Pad, typically use unheated, fresh water. Therefore, specific pool temperature information is generally not provided or maintained, and the water temperature would be ambient, varying with the outdoor weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews consistently praise the splash pad as a free, clean, and well-designed attraction, particularly noting its fence for safety and a good variety of water features that children love. It is situated within a nice, clean municipal park that offers additional amenities like bathrooms, pavilions, exercise equipment, and walking paths, and is located in a pleasant nature area along a river, even suggested for rocket launch viewing. However, a significant drawback mentioned by multiple reviewers is the severe lack of shade and available seating, with strong recommendations for visitors to bring their own chairs and umbrellas to cope with the sun and heat.

One of the best splash pads I've seen all summer. I love that it is fenced so parents can feel good about taking their eyes off their kids for a few seconds. It was very clean and I enjoyed the shade provided though it is limited on those really hot days. Seems to be a very nice surrounding park. Looking forward to coming back!
Fenced splashpad that operated as it should. Located in a decent sized, wonderful nature area/park along the river.
Great municipal Park with bathrooms, pavilions, exercise equipment and walking path. Clean and safe. Awesome.location for rocket launch viewing
The grandkids love the splash pad! I would recommend bringing your own chair because there are none there anymore. Also you might want to bring an umbrella or some kind of a shade because there are no trees and it is very sunny and hot.
Nice little free splash pad. Another splash pad we wanted to go to was closed, so we went to this one. There are six or seven water structures (including a fill and dump bucket) at this one, plus lots of water splashers that come up from the ground (with different spray heights and widths). Bring a couple plastic toys/balls/buckets, and have fun. The other kids will get jealous lol. There are a couple of things that were lacking in the area, but the splash pad itself was pretty nice. There is a playground nearby in the hot sun, plus there is an okish bathroom next to the pad. There is not a lot of shade for families when it gets crowed. The families we saw stayed 30-60 minutes or more at the splash pad. There is also a place at the pad to shower/rinse your feet, which the kids use for more splashing.
