What are people saying (AI review summary)? This family-friendly park generally receives positive feedback, with many considering it a great addition to the area, featuring covered picnic tables and a separate inflatable play area for younger children. Visitors appreciate the ability to bring their own coolers and BBQs (though glass and alcohol are prohibited) and often find it 'worth the drive.' Payment is cash-only at $10 per person. However, there are significant criticisms: one serious safety concern involved lifeguards allegedly abandoning posts and not warning patrons during heavy rain, leading to an accident. Other common complaints include the difficulty in finding the location due to a lack of clear signage, and a suggestion that non-participating visitors should not be charged full admission.

Everything was perfect until it started pouring rain and all the lifeguards were the first ones to run away and hide, while my child and wife slipped trying to get off, she fell into the water with my two year old trying to get to safety and I panicked and went to go help them. What’s the point of having so many life guards if they won’t even blow a whistle to get out of the water?
$10.00 dollars a head cash no credit cards. Bring your coolers, bbq just leave glass and booze home .. Me and my grandkids loved this place. Drove from Silver city. We'll worth the drive.
Great place, nice addition to Deming for sure. Kids have a smaller separate inflatable play area. Great covered tables available. Nice for a picnic and resting you can even take a BBQ. Nextdoor to a cute park called trees park. Definitely family friendly!!
Need to not charge full price for people just sitting down, should charge a couple dollars but full price is something else. Other then that its cool
As a mom of 4 children, I could not, for the life of me find this place. I had to ask a random man where the park was. Every time I thought I saw it, there was a gate in the way. The drive their was hard and felt like a puzzle. But, the place was definitely worth the wait. The lifeguards were very active and helped a lot. The people were nice. The life vests work very well, and it helps that you can just go in without having to ask. I totally recommend this place. The only problem I have is the way there. They need to make a sign specifying the directions to the park.
