What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Clear Creek Rec. Center, located in Idaho Springs, is highly regarded for its diverse and well-maintained facilities, which include a beautiful pool area with slides, a lazy river, and a diving board, as well as a hot tub, sauna, weight lifting area, free weights, machines, cardio equipment, and a basketball court. Reviewers consistently praise its cleanliness, friendly staff, and the availability of kids' programs, including swimming. Many, including a long-term local, express strong satisfaction with the center. However, common criticisms revolve around the limited operating hours, particularly the lack of Sunday hours and the pool/sauna's staggered opening/closing times. Some also noted previous issues with the hot tub and sauna being broken, though it is acknowledged as the only gym in the area.

Considering Idaho Springs is kind of the boonies, at least to me, a Chi town gal from Chicago, Clear Creek Rec. Center has beautiful areas including a pool to swim in, a weight lift area and spaces to hang out in.
We only saw the pool and locker room and it was nice. It's a nice facility. They have kids' programs for different activities including swimming.
My grand babies love this place the got 2 slides a lazy rive for the younger ones diving board hot tub really a nice place
Im a local and have been training at this gym for almost 5 years — I love everything about it (aside from the somewhat limited hours). It's clean, the staff is friendly, and there are plenty of free weights, open space, machines, cardio equipment, and a basketball court and swimming pool/hot tub if those are your jam. Now if I can just convince them to stay open later on weekdays and have hours on Sundays...😅
Has everything you’d need, just moved up and joined on the Black Friday sale. Hot tub and sauna were previously broken. The pool/sauna opens and closes an hour after open and before close 😢 The lack of hours and no Sundays is really upsetting. But it’s the only gym in the area. Does the job, this was the line of people waiting for open on a Saturday 9:50 am.
