What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews consistently highlight significant issues with the pool's staff, describing them as disrespectful, unprofessional, and poorly supervised. Specific incidents include lifeguards encouraging children to splash patrons, playing with food, yelling at visitors, making flames with aerosol cans, and providing inconsistent information regarding rules. Patrons also expressed frustration with numerous strict, often unclear, or inconsistently enforced rules, such as mandatory swim tests for deep water (even for children with parents), bans on specific floatation devices and noodles, and confusing wristband requirements for slides. Additionally, there were concerns about maintenance, including broken toys and a kids' slide without running water, causing burn hazards. While some reviewers noted the pool itself was clean and kids enjoyed it, the overwhelming negative experiences with staff conduct, strict rules, and lack of refunds for weather closures led many to state they would not return.

Just watching my daughter sitting on the side of the pool go down the slide and one of the male lifeguards thought it would be funny to tell some younger boys to jump in front of where I was sitting with my feet in the water to jump in front of me and plush me and got high fives from them. Didn’t think that was setting a good example.
Nice pool and clean (for the most part). Kids loved it. But as for the staff- I understand these are probably high school kids and great for them for working. But if they can't act like one while working then they should be supervised by an adult. They should be setting a good example for other kids and maybe for Glidden too. Today there were two lifeguards playing "baseball" with food during a pool break and never picked it up after. Too many rules for me to want to come back. Also note - no noodles, no puddle jumper floaties, you need to pass a test to recieve a wrist band for anything deeper than 2&1/2ft (even if with parents) and I'm sure there's a longer list somewhere.
I went to this pool for the very first time today, and I could not believe the way the staff/lifeguards treated me and my kids. I took one of my kids to the deeper water so she could go off the diving board, after she jumped off the board the lifeguard says she can’t be in here unless she past a test and I told her I talked to the lady at the front and she told me that since it was family hour and almost time to close it wouldn’t be a big deal, the lifeguard would not listen to a word I said and interrupted me. She ended up yelling at me saying she needs to get out of this part of the pool right now and repeatedly kept saying it and would not let me get a word in. THIS WAS NOT THE ONLY INCIDENT WE HAD. My daughter asked to go down the side and a lifeguard stopped us before we could go down the slide and said something about her having to have a wristband which we were not told about so we get back from getting a wristband and she couldn’t go down the slide she wanted to because she didn’t get the right colored wristband.
We were in the pool 10 minutes and had to get out for lightning, they didn't refund. Then as we were leaving I witnessed a lifeguard, who I'm apparently supposed to trust, using an aerosol can and a lighter to make flames, right in view of my kids. Not impressed and not going back.
Staff is beyond disrespectful broken toys. No water running on the kids slide so they get burnt. Can't use your own life jackets specifically made for your kids
