What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Atlas Tube Recreation Centre is highly praised as a modern, clean, and spacious facility that sets a high standard for community centers. It is noted for its excellent natural lighting and overall brightness. Key features include a hockey rink, swimming pool, library, event hall, and ice skating facilities. Staff are consistently described as friendly, kind, and helpful. Visitors have had positive experiences with the well-maintained and clean swimming pool (perfect temperature, spotless change rooms), a bright and inviting on-site library with a good selection, and well-kept ice skating facilities. Many families report having an amazing time, with kids enjoying the activities and lifeguards. However, there was one notable negative experience regarding a 'Swim with the Mermaids' event, where mermaids only posed for pictures rather than swimming with children, leading to disappointment and feeling like paying a premium for a standard free swim.

Our family recently visited the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, and we were incredibly impressed! We took full advantage of the variety of activities offered and had an amazing time. The swimming pool was fantastic – clean, well-maintained, and the perfect temperature for everyone to enjoy. The change rooms were spotless and well-organized, making it easy to get in and out with kids. We also stopped by the public library located on-site, which was a lovely bonus. The space is bright and inviting, with a great selection of books and activities for the whole family. To top it all off, we spent some time at the ice skating facilities, which were equally well-kept and enjoyable. The ice was in excellent condition, and it’s clear the staff take pride in maintaining the entire facility to the highest standards. Atlas Tube Recreation Centre is a true gem in the community, and we’ll definitely be back for more family fun! Highly recommended!
Was there for a craft show on a Sunday, lots of young children playing hockey and swimming. Handed out a DIY kit to a young girl and her brother, they had no money so they sang me a song. Was awesome!
Very modern clean spacious facility! This community center set the bar higher and an example for others to follow. One of the best features for this facility is that it does an excellent job living in natural light and is very well-lit. A hockey rink A swimming pool A library An Event Hall Staff is friendly kind and helpful.
Very disappointed, purchased tickets to Swim with the Mermaids . There was no mermaids swimming . All five mermaids sat on edge of the pool and posed for pictures. Not one entered and swam with kids. Very disappointed. Paid $50 basically for 2 hrs of free swim time.
