AMAZING FIELDS! So well kept, bathrooms are clean, the food was good. I will advice there is NO BEACH WATER lol, the sand felt good to dig your toes in. The officials were very respectful and knowledgeable during the games. Everyone had a lot of professionalism and we were so happy our boys got to win this!!

My son had a baseball tournament here (we're from maryland) and initially when I read the complex rules (mainly not being able to bring coolers, drinks, or food) I was not a fan as every tournament he's ever been in we always bring a cooler with waters, Gatorade, and small snacks for him to eat between games. I was not looking forward to having to buy everything there (sports + equipment + traveling is already expensive enough). I figured id just leave the cooler in the car and walk back but everyone had coolers and drinks and I didnt see anybody enforcing this rule. Im not encouraging anybody to break the rules but I did go back to the car and grab some waters and I had some snacks in my bag. The complex itself is really nice. The fields were nice (some of the fences could use some work) and they also had multiple ponds for fishing which was nice because before and after the games the boys would all go fishing. I definitely wouldn't mind having more tournaments here.

There is minimal protection from baseballs around the fields. Typically, you have solid 4ft metal fencing around the field. There were large sitting areas with short concrete walls and other sections where the batting cage netting served as the outfield fences. We actually saw a kid fall fall backwards over that wall when catching a ball. The metal fencing is curled up along the ground and balls don't stay on the field. Multiple balls fouled IN to the dugouts. The netting behind homeplate was minimal and foul balls were flying all over between the fields. We as adults know to be on the lookout, but they have a lot of nice areas for kids to play and it's impossible to watch all the directions balls flew in from. There was basically nowhere to relax and enjoy the game. Bathrooms were OK, well stocked with tp, soap, and working dryers. I appreciate that over the porta johns. Lots of trash cans everywhere with plenty of space in them. Food...you are not supposed to bring in food, but the concession stand was very expensive and didn't have any nutritional options to feed athletes. Or adults who dont want junk. If there was a water fountain, we never saw it. Some scoreboards worked, some didnt. There wasn't enough cell service to have game changer load, so you couldn't follow along with the balls/strikes/outs. There was a lot of parking, so that's a plus too.

Really poorly run tournament. Everything from t-shirt pre-orders to general umpire assigning, they fail miserably at. This was the first and last time we attend SATB. To give you an idea of how much they care, the scoreboards not only don't work but their own signage is upside down (see photo) along with the sponsors. We played all weekend on the "other" side of the facility in upper 80s/low 90s heat and no concessions open. The one that was open, was selling out by 1pm of food. Tournament tees that were pre-ordered, were not created/available for the kids. They assigned umpires for 4 straight games in 90 degree heat, only to find them dropping due to health issues by game 2. Our team arrived at the field for our scheduled game, and had no umpires at game time. Umpires on adjacent field, when we asked, said there was no game assignments for our field at that time... meaning they didn't assign umpires. Boys waited over an hour in 88 degree heat to finally start up late, and they had one of the guys on a cart act as the field umpire (see photo). You pay the hefty price to go, pay the gate fee on top of it, and they charge you an additional $30 to be part of an association that is on the property (if you don't pay to be a member, you can't pick up your baseballs). Save your money and go to a facility that actually provides what you pay for. Sports at the Beach is a disaster and even the officials who were overheating would agree, they only care about the money coming in and not the product you are paying for.

They should name this facility Trash at the beach. They are living 20 years in the past. Facility run down from top to bottom. The field need to be much better. All fields are dirt, and when you get rain, they cancel games. Bad bounces left and right, if this facility would be at any other location other than "the beach " they would probably be out of business. Don't even get me started on the dead baseballs. A bucket of Dicks rec balls are better. Get up with the times and put in turf. Time to start putting some money back into the facility! The bathrooms have holes in the walls, and I'm not sure what biologics are growing on the walls in front of the urinals. You can and need to do better with your product....
