The waterpark was great! The lifeguards paid very close attention, and someone was monitoring pool chemicals frequently. The layout of the rooms was appealing. We loved the bunk beds! The only thing I would recommend is maybe adding a few things to breakfast, or something different. We will definitely be back!
This place has been a great summer getaway for us twice this year. We came in July and had so much fun that we came back for 2 more. The staff here is professional and quick to respond. Amazing lifeguards. Outside pools and the indoor waterpark are first rate. Mini golf, bicycle lending, gym all included. The breakfast has a pancake maker, eggs, bacon, sausage plus the traditional continental breakfast. We loved our stays at Edgewater this year, 2025.
We had the best time here! The Waterpark is awesome!!! The lifeguards are so attentive! We had a double queen room with a pullout couch. It was very spacious! The breakfast was great too! Awesome location as well! We will definitely be back!
The kids enjoyed the waterpark and the employees were polite. That’s about where the positives end. The hotel smelled of mold/mildew, locks were really finicky and needed resetting multiple times, breakfast was poorly stocked. At 4am we were awoken by police knocking on our door- they were there for a different reason but noticed our car’s bike rack had the locks cut and bikes stolen. They said they have been telling the hotel to increase security for years but there are still no cameras in the parking lot and nothing they could really do to assist. For the price per night this is a complete rip off and we regret choosing this hotel.
This place was crap! The rooms smelled of cigarettes and drugs, beds were beyond uncomfortable,” there were holes in my sheets”. The pancakes came out of a machine that plopped on my plate! Elevators where questionable.. the rooms where humid and felt moister in carpets. Overall this place was DIRTY. Food was crap! Walls were thinner than paper! Overall I highly do not recommend!
