Beautiful little park along the Animas River in Durango, CO. Not easily accessible by car, but park in the Albertsons parking lot upstream and walk the 7/10ths mile trail to the park. Great river views.

Amazing park. Huge play area swings dizzy spinners and a music making area all with a backdrop of the river and mountain. We had more fun playing in the river. But our kids are all water pups. Aug 2017 river is low and gental enough for a swim. Water was cool but not freezing. Changing stalls next to bathrooms.

I liked the views, picnic areas, and trail. Kids enjoyed playing on the playground and putting their feet in water.

Good park. Not enough shade. You can walk down to the water. We loved that. The park is really big. And they do have bathrooms. Woohoo
