What are people saying (AI review summary)? The majority of reviews for this establishment are overwhelmingly negative, describing it as an unsafe, unsanitary, and poorly managed 'drunken crack hotel.' Common complaints include frequent drug use, violence, and deaths, alongside verbal abuse and intimidation from owners who reportedly enter guest rooms without permission. Guests report misleading online advertisements regarding amenities like pools and rates, and significant issues with room cleanliness, such as dirty bathrooms, uncleaned tubs/floors, suspected bed bugs, and only superficial tidying (making beds, replacing towels, but not changing sheets or providing fresh coffee supplies). Many room amenities are described as broken (TVs, microwaves, phones, alarm clocks), and the property is noted as old and poorly maintained, with fire hazards and empty beer cases. Staff are sometimes described as incompetent with language barriers and credit card machines, and complaints are generally ignored. In stark contrast, one review indicates a positive experience, stating that the hotel has 'definitely improved since it has been under new management,' with 'very clean' rooms and 'very helpful and friendly' staff.

Culmination of events and interactions are exactly why my score for this "if nowhere else on earth is available" type of pay to stay establishment. I couldn't feel okay labeling it as a hotel or motel being that I feel like that implies there is a standard that is met or will be met if you stay there. Death has been frequent there for years, surely it hasn't gotten better. Drug use and violence are common factors. Saved 2 lives by calling 911 in our time we were staying there. Verbal abuse and intimidation tactics were used frequently by the owners and the family members who stay there. The best suite they offer with a jacuzzi and amenities is..you guessed it...where they live. The advertisements online are false and misleading. The pool is rarely open and if at all. It took 4 years to get them to seriously look into honoring what they advertise online and in person to have available. Rates online will not be honored. The older man, the father, was lying naked stretched out on a first floor bed in front of the open window and passed out drunk when I stayed there. He will also open the door to your room, as will the wife and daughter and son in law. My wife had been walked in on multiple times after stating to please hold on one minute. I could keep going for a while....
The first two I seen we're lies, I definitely never seen no good service or a Jacuzzi bathtub. It was $70 and it was basically like a drunken crack hotel!! First time I got there, I had already checked in and I gave two guys my credit card (not being racist but they were from the Middle East). Neither one of them could speak good English, and neither one of them knew how to work the credit card machine. The first one put it in upside down a few times until I told him you had to turn it over. So the second one took over and of course he put it in backwards where it wouldn't read the chip, so I had to tell him about that. They really didn't understand what I was talking about where my language and finally a third guy came out that knew how to do it and spoke proper English. This is one of the worst places and I've ever stayed and if you're looking for a room in siler City go across the street to the Days inn!!!! The place was old and look like it it had been built in the 90's. As far as doing your room all they did was make the bed, not changing the sheets of course and I think they had bed bugs. David also just take your old towels and put new towels in the bathroom, that's all. They never clean the bathroom, clean the tub, or mop the bathroom floor. They also never vacuumed, so when I got out of the shower barefoot I would always have all kinds of things on the bottom of my feet picked up from the bathroom floor and the rug in the room!!!! Also they would not clean the coffee pot, or leave fresh coffee supplies at all, I've got pictures to prove all this!!! And also the room I had on the bottom floor when you open up the curtain you have a view of the stairs, which they had furniture and chairs underneath which is a real fire hazard!!! Not only that every night I came home from work there is a food Lion card right by the stairs filled with empty beer cases, every night!!! I would take the food Lion shopping cart which came from right across the street and I would will it underneath the stairs behind the chairs and furniture. But it didn't matter cuz every day I came home it was still in the same spot right by the front of the stairs by my door filled with cases of empty beer. They do not have no phones or alarm clocks of course, it was very ghetto!! The last day I complained do the lady which was one of their wives about everything, and I had been complaining every day. But the last day was the worst. I told her whoever was cleaning the rooms needs to be fired because all they're doing is making the bed and putting towels in the bathroom, and that they were not cleaning at all and I have pictures of the bathroom floor and how dirty was. And also pictures of the coffee pot that they just left with the cup that I used and never replaced anything... She made an excuse that she was at the hospital and the person that clean the room was sick... Another guy I worked with stayed in the same place just a little further down, and he told me he's seen the person who cleans the room. He said he look like an old drunk crackhead, and I thought I had a couple things missing.... So best advice is to go across the street and stay away from this place. From $70 for a crack hotel to $100 for a real nice hotel it's worth the $30. Oh and as you will see in the pictures the last day I got so mad cuz when I came home they were to food Lion carts outside my door. I put one of them behind the chairs underneath the stairs, and I took the other one around and put it right in front of the bright lightin front of the hotel that shines straight up so that everybody could see it!!! After that I took a shower and sit down and started watching TV, Friday the 13th because it actually was Friday the 13th. I heard voices outside so when I open up my shade, I seen there were two people sitting on the chair, a guy and a girl write out my window underneath the stairs sitting in those nasty chairs and talking for over an hour.... A crackhead and a chicken, and if you don't know what I mean look! The next day when I left I said I would never come back here!
To start price five star service
I had previously gave this place 3 stars, but they came to my rescue recently, when the late night worker at the Siler City Motor Lodge totally screwed me out of a room, and for what reason... I still don't know. These rooms are very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. This hotel has definitely improved since it has been under new management. I won't even waste my breath on ever calling the Motor Lodge again. I'll call here 1st everytime when I need a room in Siler from now on.
Where to start? Upon arrival, tube tv that doesn’t work. One room key that didn’t work. Had to yank door shut. 1 lamp shade per 3 ramps. All furniture in horrible condition. Microwave doesn’t work. Hot water you had to turn the knob all the way to hot then back it off about an inch. Permanent residents that definitely like to party loudly. When I get a hotel, I usually just use it to sleep and shower and am busy the rest of the day/night, so I don’t mind staying in sleazy hotels. This one by far won the worst that I stayed in. I will not be staying here again for sure.
