What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews offer mixed feedback. Positive aspects frequently mention the facility being nice, organized, and clean, with some staff described as outstanding, helpful, nice, professional, and personable, creating a welcoming environment even for those self-conscious about body image. Specific praise was given to swim instructors. Negative feedback includes staff being perceived as friendly but uncaring, particularly regarding personal training follow-ups and the failure to repair a crucial machine for disabled individuals. Other issues raised include groups of patrons monopolizing equipment without actively using it, and a double standard in discount policies, specifically excluding corrections officers from law enforcement/first responder discounts.

The staff can seem really friendly, but they don’t really care. If you join, don’t expect anybody to show you anything and definitely don’t expect a call back if you want to get personal training. Also, they do not care if you’re disabled, they will not fix the ONE Machine that would help disabled people the most, even if you ask a couple times.
The staff here is outstanding! They are all very helpful and very nice. They will joke with you and always welcome you when you arrive. I often worry about being a "fat guy" at the gym, but I'm never made to feel that way. They've got great programs available and some really fun classes. Highly recommend this Y if you are looking to get healthy, bulk up, or simply start moving.
The facility is very nice, organized and clean. I spoke only with the lady at the front desk and a swim instructor. I found them to be professional yet personable. My almost 6 year old grandaughter was apprehensive about swim lessons going in and due to her experience in "checking it out" she is now beyond excited! We will most definitely be returning.
We don't go anymore because everytime we went there would be a group of guys standing (usually in the am) around doing nothing but chatting but when you go to get on a piece of equipment, they would say I'm using it! How when you have been nowhere near it for an hour. And people working there saw them do it to.....It happened 3x...since they want to act like they own the place...let them have it. We took our business elsewhere.
It is a really good place but I think it is so double standard to give discounts to law enforcement and first responders yet corrections officers get over looked Everytime.. .they are law enforcement too and with having a facility in their own back yard and not consider them for a discount wow.
