The Basalt Pool is heated to provide a comfortable swimming experience. What are people saying (AI review summary)? Overall, the establishment is described as fun, enjoyable, and affordable, with good service and cleanliness often noted. Guests appreciate being able to bring their own coolers and snacks, though a concession booth offering basic items is also available. The water temperature receives mixed reviews, with some finding it perfect while others describe it as very cold due to limited solar heating, despite the pool being large and offering features like noodles and a diving board. A significant concern is the 'robot pool' for young children, which is frequently labeled as chaotic, dangerous, and uncontrolled, with some reviewers noting a lack of lifeguard oversight and aggressive play. The pool operates only during the summer and offers swim and kayaking lessons, though the snack shop's hours can be inconsistent.

Me and my friends went their and it was really fun and cheap also the service was amazing.would recommend to go
If you have young kids and want to go to the robot pool it’s chaotic. Life guards don’t care, aggressive noodle fights and water guns allowed. Pretty dangerous and uncontrolled. Definitely need to have an age limit in that small pool.
A bit chaotic but had fun and it was clean
Not expensive. You can bring your own cooler and snacks. Water temp is perfect. They do have a concession booth with basics like ice cream, soda, chips, hot dogs and even cup o noodles! It is well worth it.
Cold but fun pool. It is the only pool within walking distance of me so I go there often. The pools water is very cold because the pool is heated by only a small amount of solar panels. If there was another pool within walking distance of me that was warmer I might go there instead. This pool is quite, big, fun, enjoyable and has pool noodles for use and a diving board. The place is only open during the summer. There is a snack shop at the pool that isn't always open. This pool also offers swim lessons mostly taken by young kids which happen before the pool is opened for the day, and kayaking lessons after the pool closes.
