What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for parks in Edna offer a mixed perspective. Positive feedback highlights a 'nice little park' suitable for stretching legs during a road trip, with walking trails and easy accessibility for large RVs and pets. The baseball park is described as a 'typical small town country baseball park' with good french fries and an initially friendly atmosphere. Conversely, the pool facility garnered significant negative criticism, citing a major price discrepancy ($1.50 online vs. $5 charged per person), a strict no-refund policy, premature closure due to minimal cloudy weather, and unhelpful, even celebratory, staff reactions to closing, resulting in a 'waste of money' for a very brief visit.
Reviews
Online it states that it is $1.50 per person to get in. We had a group of 4, handed them a $20, with no change...we asked for our change, and they then said it was $5 per person. They informed us that there are no refunds, and the weather may shut things down. It got cloudy with literally like one thunder clap, no lightening and made everyone get out. This was around 315 and they said we'd have to wait until 4 to see what was going to happen. It was just cloudy and about 3:40 and the employees came out cheering and soooo happy and said were going to shut it down, not even telling the people waiting to get back in, just cheering amongst themselves. We were literally maybe there a total of 4 minutes, 2 of which were spent in the pool. Pretty sad you can't get a refund only being there 2 minutes. Ridiculous, and such a waste of money. And the overjoyed response the employees had, when they didn't even need to close was pitiful.
This is a nice little park located off of US59 in Edna. A good place to stretch the legs during a road trip. More of a walking trail than a playground kind of park.
Typical Small Town country baseball park. The hamburgers were cold. The french fries were great on the other hand. Very friendly atmosphere until it got to be a close game. The southeast the industrial team 31 to 6. Sad for the industrial team happy for the southeast team. On to the next round.
Isn't much of a park, but has a small pool
Great little park for a small city! We loved visiting it, had our lunch there and it was easy to get in and out of with our 50' RV and towed! Our three dogs loved their run! Thank you Edna!
