What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews indicate significant dissatisfaction with the pool facilities and operations. Common complaints include a lack of communication regarding closures and schedule changes, frequently inaccurate posted operating hours, and doors not opening on time. Visitors also reported issues with staff, specifically lifeguards acting as if on a 'power trip' and front desk staff being 'short,' as well as a policy that prioritizes lap swimmers during open swim, relegating families to a children's area. Further grievances include unexpected closures after payment with no refunds, and outdated facilities, particularly the locker rooms. While some noted the water was warm and not over-chlorinated, the overall experience for many was negative due to unreliability and poor customer service.

The website and the Google page do not show any information on closures! Drove almost 40 minutes just to spend time at the pool! Called too and no answer!! The city can do better than this if they want to take more of El Pasoan money!!
There times are off for open swimming in the evening it’s 7-9 but don’t come and expect you can swim with your family they will isolate you to the kids area while the lap swimmers have priority.. they need to explain this before we pay to get in..and the life guards act like they are on a power trip.. f this place I will not return..
Went to the pool today 06/07 at 6:00am and mmmmhhhh the doors are not open. Waited until 6:10am and still not open. At least 10 other people were waiting in the parking lot. This seems to be a frequent occurrence the pool not being open at the listed time. We live in El Paso so before you start making excuses of getting stuck in traffic, plan ahead.
I paid 22 dollars for an uber and 6 dollars to go swimming from 6 am to noon almost 30 just to swim for 15 minutes they did not refund our money back workers were acting funny and they said they had to close due to pipe leaking and dirty water but i think it was due to a dirty cop spreading rumurs that i have a disease in the private area
The pool facilities are wildly out of date, especially the locker rooms. The water is warm and the pool wasn't over chlorinated. I know some people complained about the lifeguards however my experience was different. They seemed competent, it was the girl at the front desk that was short with me.
