Casual park featuring a clean outdoor pool with waterslides and a playground.
Specific pool temperatures for the outdoor American Legion Water Park are generally not publicly advertised. Outdoor aquatic centers like this typically do not actively heat their main pools to a precise temperature, and the water temperature naturally fluctuates with ambient weather conditions.

We lost our wiffle ball in the lazy river during storm delay, (no thunder or lightning and they add time) so we try to get it and we can’t and then angry Karen worker comes out and gets mad, crashes out. Call this place a water park only has 2 slides here. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! Also in picture you can see no rain or storms.
Was shut down due to the rain upon arrival, which I understand. Then opened up let us pay and once inside they still have the pool closed, we never even had time to get in. They shut it down again, which I understand but they wouldn’t return our money. So we paid $30 to get inside the gate just to have to go back out. Could have at least returned our money or gave us a pass for another day. It was our first time here and we drove from another city. Will not be coming back. There is no sign that we seen that stated no refunds. There was other people who had the same thing happen to them and they told them the same, no refunds. Why take our money knowing you were still closed down and at least say something about it before you take or payment. Like hey, there may be a chance you don’t even get to swim before you pay to it. Waste of $30.
As someone who has worked at a pool for multiple years, i understand how frustrating it can be to be a lifeguard and that breaks are needed, but the system they have here is a bit too much. Way too many “everyone out” breaks jusr for the lifeguards to play around and go down the slides. I mean it was multiple times in an hour. At my pool the guards rotated and were allowed in the pool at those times and we kept it open all day. This was just a bit excessive. Nice clean pool though.
We go every year. The lifeguards are great with kids and my special needs child. If you have an older child on the spectrum who loves water slides. This is the place .
The swim lessons offered before the park opens are top-notch, especially for the price. The lifeguards are all wonderful with kids and made my kids feel welcomed every day. They were encouraging and gave my kids confidence in their abilities.
