A fantastic indoor pool that is one of Erie's hidden treasures. The raising/lowering floor is awesome, and the water is always nice and warm!
The Barber National Institute is a great place for everyone. They don't judge you. We are also an equal opportunity employer. Looking for people who want to help change lives, and help make people's dreams come true. The pool is a fun place to go, and they also hold other events in the gym. I want to say I am an employee of the Barber Institute, and it's the best job I've ever had. We all work to help people have better lives, and what's better than that?
Love the pool It was so much fun 😁
Great place for swimming lessons, temperatures are good for small children. I love the fact the floor moves up and down for smaller children to enjoy the pool as well. Sometimes there is difficulty reaching an as actual person when you call but someone usually calls you back within the day.
This place is fantastic! What a great community outreach program. We just had my daughter’s 8th birthday party here and it was a blast! They had an hour in the pool, with TWO lifeguards and then an hour in the gym to run around and have cake. The pool is always really warm and the moving platform is really useful. There were a few of her friends who couldn’t swim, but they move the platform so that everyone can touch the bottom! My kids also take swim lessons here and the teachers are very patient and do a great job with the kids. The only negative I have is that in order to keep the pool so warm, the temperature outside the pool is always around 85-90, so wear shorts and a tank top!!
