What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this Best Western are mixed. Many guests appreciate the convenience of the on-site restaurant and lounge, ample parking, and proximity to other dining and fuel options. Some praised the cleanliness of the rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, efficient staff, with positive remarks about the quality and pricing of the hotel restaurant's food. However, significant complaints include the absence of a complimentary breakfast, forcing guests to pay at the attached restaurant, and the lack of in-room microwaves, which some perceive as a strategy to increase restaurant sales. Other negative experiences include reports of dirty rooms (e.g., uncleaned toilet, stained sheets) and unhelpful staff when issues were raised. One guest also noted constant noise from an adjacent truck stop and felt the area was unsafe, while others reported peaceful stays. Room size and a 'weird' smell were also mentioned.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Dirty, Noisy, and Poor Service Stayed at the Best Western Fairmont for a quick overnight trip, and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. First, the room was dirty—it was clear the toilet seat had not been cleaned from the previous guest, which is absolutely unacceptable. When I reported it to the staff, they basically shrugged it off and told me housekeeping wouldn’t be available until the next day. That was useless to me since I was only staying one night. The sheets had visible spots/stains, and the room was very small—definitely not what you'd expect for the price. To top it off, the hotel is located right next to a truck stop, so there was constant noise all night with trucks coming and going. It also made the area feel less safe, especially at night. No breakfast was offered either, which is pretty surprising for a Best Western, where it’s usually a standard amenity. All in all, I would not recommend staying here—poor cleanliness, poor service, noisy environment, and zero value for money. Spend your money elsewhere.

It's one of the best Bestwestern I've stayed at. There is a complete restaurant and lounge in the property. There is plenty of parking as well as semi parking across the street. There is a Perkins next door, and fuel stops close by. There is fast food very close. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are wonderful. Very peaceful nights rest. Didn't have time in the morning to try the breakfast. My day started at 5am. The hotel restaurant food was good and plentiful. Will stay here again!

Room smelled a little weird but the room was clean and the staff were helpful. No continental breakfast but the restaurant served breakfast that had affordable options. Great location, really felt the Midwest friendliness.

I've been a diamond member of Best Western for years and am disappointed by the direction that some hotels in the franchise are taking. This is a classic example. They don't offer complimentary breakfast because 'we have an attached restaraunt'. Who cares? So, instead of a complimentary breakfast, paying guests have to pay full price at their attached restaraunt. How is that a benefit to the paying hotel guests? Did they lower the room price because the complimentary breakfast is no longer included? I highly doubt it. Then, we get into the room and it's the only BW room we stayed at during this 10 day trip that doesn't have a microwave. Hmmmmmm, I wonder why! Could it be because of the 'attached restaraunt' they want everyone to spend money in??? So, they don't offer a complimentary breakfast because they want paying guests to pay full price at their restaraunt. They don't have microwaves in the room because they want paying guests to pay full price at the restaraunt. And, the most insulting part of everything ... they think their paying guests are too stupid to figure this out!!
