About

The REEF, officially known as the Park Hills Aquatic Center, is a public outdoor water park located in Park Hills, MO. It is a popular summer destination featuring a variety of attractions including a lazy river, multiple water slides, a zero-depth entry area suitable for young children, a diving board, and a splash pad, offering a comprehensive recreational experience for families and individuals.

Specific pool temperatures for The REEF (Park Hills Aquatic Center) are not publicly advertised. As a typical outdoor public aquatic facility, the water temperature is generally maintained within a comfortable range for recreational swimming, but an exact figure is not readily available.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the park are mixed, but generally positive for younger children. Many praise it as a favorite spot for kids, highlighting features like the big yellow slide and splash pad, and commending the staff and location. It's noted as being great for little kids, with water depths suitable for the youngest. However, several negative points emerge: one significant complaint is the high cost, deemed "way too expensive." Another strong criticism states that recent design changes make it "more than juvenile," primarily a "splash park for babies," and not appealing or friendly for teenagers or adults. A minor issue mentioned is the lack of enough chairs.

I wasn't happy with first design changes to the water fun "the reef"8 in Columbia Park in Park Hills Missouri but after seeing the changes that we're actually implemented it is more than juvenile. It is a splash park for babies that no adult wants to sit at, it isn't teen friendly...yet another thing teenagers don't have in Park Hills

I am so happy this place opened. It’s great for all ages, but I love that my youngest can touch in all but one spot in the water. The only downfall was not enough chairs
