This past weekend at Mount Sequoyah was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and supported, creating a space where our group could focus on connection and fun without a single worry about logistics. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, peaceful walking paths, stunning overlooks of Fayetteville, and cozy gathering spaces that made our retreat feel both restorative and energizing. Our lodging was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our group’s needs. What really stood out, though, was the way Mount Sequoyah feels like more than just a venue. It’s a community hub that embraces events like ours with genuine hospitality. We hosted programming across different spaces, and every room was set up just right. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, flexible facilities, and a staff that truly cares, Mount Sequoyah is it. My husband and I stayed here for five weeks while we had our house remodeled. It was a great place to stay – very relaxing beautiful scenery, wonderful pool and gym. Plus their activities going on all the time like art shows, political meetings, & Community engagement groups. We enjoyed it very much!

Gorgeous place!! We were only there for a memorial service at the Bailey Center. The staff were incredibly kind and the flexibility of the space allowed us to spread out, eat and visit.

I attended an event here and enjoyed everything. The dining hall could use an extra bathroom, but it was beautiful. We walked around afterwards, there are nice herbs in pots, random monds of rocks with semi sculpture like appearance, a cute art exhibit and gift shop and an amazing overlook on the west side with a cross and a view of the center of the city of Fayetteville.

Stayed here for Audubon convention. Sort of an art culture center with lodging. Close to just about everything in Fayetteville. Reminded me of a old college campus. The room I had was nice with its own bathroom. It also had a shared kitchenette. It has a nice big park like area with a gazebo. Staff wwas very friendly. You can rent buildings for weddings and conventions.
