Finally checked out Kanab city pool. We got there at 1 pm for an open swim. The first thing I noticed is that there is no shade for the chairs. They are all in the sun. There is a shaded area for picnic tables. I wish they would at least have umbrellas. The kids loved the slide, and we all loved the lazy river and the lap pool. We usually go to Hurricane Pool or Washington City Pool. The thing that I liked more here in Kanab compared to Hurricane pool is that the lap pool starts at 3'6" and slowly goes to 6'. That way our 8 year old (who doesn't swim very well yet) was able to play with us in the shallow end, and we could swim to the end of the pool and back, where in Hurricane you either have to be in the small little kids area or in 5' where he can't touch the ground. But the Hurricane pool has the diving boards. I guess you can't have it all 😅Another plus for Kanab pool is their changing stalls, where Hurricane pool doesn't have them. The pool is heated. It's nice and clean. The kids' area is great, too. They have a decent snack bar. If they would add popcorn and pizza slices, we would have spent 6 hrs there instead of 4😅 the kids loved pretzel bites. Overall, we loved it and will be coming back.

If you're looking for a pretty good public pool with a workable slide and a decent lazy river and plenty of sitting areas and a refreshments stand, all in a small town full of charm and goodness and cowboy hats - you have found it in Kanab City Pool. The grassy area is pleasant; the shade canopies are helpful; and the lifeguards are alert. Like so many small towns in America, it's great. Don't move there.

My family loves this pool, great area for little kids to play in and then a big slide and lazy river, all you could want for a pool, lots of fun. I also love that food is available at the concession stand

We had a GREAT time on a hot day! Not a lot of chairs available, but lots of spots on the grass.

Great prices, even for out-of-towners. Water was warmer than we expected, which was nice because it was a cloudy day. We'll be back!
