About

Kid-friendly water-park featuring a playground and a beach, plus picnic tables, gardens and memorials.

Splash pads typically utilize ambient tap water that is continuously flowing and drained, rather than recirculating or heated pools. As such, specific or regulated pool temperatures are not maintained or publicly available, and the water temperature generally reflects the natural temperature of the municipal water supply and outdoor conditions.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed but generally positive view of a large park, frequently highlighting its splash pad and playground as key features. Many reviewers praise the park's size, suitability for all ages, and amenities such as picnic areas, flowers, ducks, and a Vietnam Veterans memorial. One reviewer specifically called it a 'wonderful splash pad and playground' and a 'hidden gem' in Flint, commending the local community. However, a significant negative review stated that facilities 'didn't work' and described the entire park/beach as 'AWFUL.' There was also a positive mention of a successful backpack giveaway event.

We walked the 1 mile from stepping stone falls. This area was very big, with many play grounds, picnic areas, flowers, ducks and a beautiful memorial to the Vietnam vets! If you're near stepping stone falls, definitely recommend the walk or drive over. Good area for all ages!!

Flint gets such a bad rap but it’s not the people who live there, it is the local government that failed them. This is such a wonderful splash pad and playground for kids. I highly recommend it - we spent hours here! Flint is a wonderful community full of amazing people and hidden gems like this. What an amazing experience!
