Dos Rios truly surpassed my expectations in ways I could never have imagined. This place is the perfect balance of peace and tranquility, with just the right touch of river fun and adventure! Very good to go to. The people that runs it are very nice and friendly. My son and I stayed to 3 weeks and loved it. Close to Mason and the James River. You can walk to the river. They have bar b q grill outside and a fire pit. you also have a picnic table with umbrella. Had a old bob cat that we fed. You see wild life. Very nice to stay. They don't have a oven. they do have a plug in stove top. Refrigerator is nice. I would go back there!!!!!

Staying at Dos Rios was the best. We booked as a last minute trip, not knowing what to expect. But were pleasantly surprised by the scenery and comfortable lodgings. Tammy was the sweetest, helped us with any questions we had and was very easy to get ahold of. They did have kayaks and tubes available for rent, and offered shuttle service for pick up. We plan to take advantage of this next time. This is the greatest secret hide away for family fun, or just to get away from busy everyday life. Make sure to stop into Mason, which is the small town down the road. They have everything you need from groceries to restaurants, and great hometown vibes.

This is our home base when we need a weekend getaway. Tammy always takes care of us, and is so friendly and helpful at any time of the day. She and her team do a great job keeping up with the grounds and the cabins. We’ll be back soon before the year is up!

Camped in site #4 overlooking the river last weekend. A great time as always! The staff is super friendly and helpful - sincerely interested in everyone having a good time. The grounds are clean and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the clear water and doing a little kayaking. We'll be back!
