Recreation venue offering a swimming pool, ice skating rink, gym, and basketball court, plus 24-hour access.
The indoor lap pool at the Fremont Community Recreation Complex is typically maintained at a temperature between 80-82 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7-27.8°C). The leisure pool, designed for comfort and various activities, is usually kept warmer, ranging from 86-88 degrees Fahrenheit (30-31.1°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The recreation complex receives mixed reviews. Many users praise its clean, well-maintained facilities, comfortable environment, and excellent exercise equipment and fitness classes, often highlighting the friendly and helpful staff. However, a significant and serious concern was raised regarding alleged racial prejudice and unfair treatment during a tournament, citing biased officiating, the ejection of a coach, police involvement, and a team's disqualification. Other criticisms include poor food service at an event, with issues of long waits and raw food, and high daily and ice rink admission prices that make it less accessible for middle-class families.

Real nice place! Comfortable environment. And most of all, some wonderful and friendly people work there!!
I would not recommend the Fremont recreation complex for any person of color. We were here for a tournament on March 25th and March 26th. Throughout the tournament, the LTB team was fouled multiple times with no calls from the referees, other kids on other teams were traveling and it was not called. In addition, a technical foul was called and a black coach was kicked out due to him voicing his concerns about his team being tripped, elbowed, and tackled with no calls from the referees. To add, four Fremont police squad cars were called the next day and standing behind the LTB bench as if they had intentions to cause the LTB team to be disqualified from the tournament. The tournament is fixed and the people that run the tournament are prejudice. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is not how you treat people. They kicked the entire LTB team, the coach, and the parents out for no reason. The LTB players left crying not because they lost but because they were fouled so bad and they could not understand because that is not basketball. You should be ashamed Fremont Community Recreation complex!
Clean grounds, clean pool, clean bathrooms. Great facility. I love how well kept it is. Parking lot is huge. We were there for a swimming competition. We had to wait over an hour for microwaved chicken fingers, that we couldn't eat because they were raw in the middle, I informed the kids behind the counter that the chicken was coming out raw they were not know how to respond. One way or the other they didn't check with management on what to do in that situation. No critical thinking skills whatsoever. Needs to be someone in charge behind the counter otherwise it was a great experience.
The recreation center in town is great for everyone. Prices are fair for yearly membership, and they offer seasonal passes as well. The pass for daily is higher, especially for the ice rink. For skates and to get in, it's 7.00 each. That adds up quickly with a family. My son's love going in the winter to skate. It seems like the hours of skating are shorter than in the past. I wasn't able to get them memberships this year because of the higher cost of everything, and I'm really disappointed that it costs so much just to get in. I told my kids that they can only go once during the weekend instead of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. My family is considered middle class, we're at the/ you make too much to qualify for any services but you don't have enough money to pay for anything extra. Maybe the rec could have a middle tier or something for other families like mine.
I work out there three to four times a week. It is a great facility with thorough exercise equipment. They offer many different types of fitness classes. Friendly and helpful staff. All in all great place to get in shape.
