Great place to take your kids when it's over 100 in Fresno. I believe they just added the bbq area so that's good. Park still some what new, trees need more growing for better shade. Overall is a decent water Park.
This place is great for the kids! And adults with kid like mines š I went with my daughters and my grandchildren and we had such a blast it was amazing. I highly recommend this even for babies. I seen so many little babies 6 months and older just floating with their mommies and daddies and they just seem to be loving it. Good atmosphere, nice setup, great options.
My partner has never been to a water park and so we had this bright idea to checkout Island Waterpark thinking it's a huge place. 𤣠we drove 3 hrs to get to this place. We weren't disappointed as we actually enjoyed the place cos the lives were not that long. It's a good day trip and offers lots of shade. I wouldn't do a long drive again just for this but when I'm in the area, I will definitely consider going back to. Friendly staff.
The kiddos has a lot of fun, especially in the lazy river. It was really crowded because of the floats which made it hard for people who didnāt buy them to swim. They were sold out of floats when I got there. Churros were good value 2/$4. Tables were all āreservedā by people who would yell at you if you parked your stuff next to their space (in the unreserved free spaces). The wave pool was packed and almost too dangerous for my littles to have fun since the waves were sending them crashing into big groups of people. A lot of adults & teenagers on the kids playground so wait times were horrendous (15 minutes) for the kids to go down the slides. I mightāve gone on a bad weekend which is why Iām giving it a 3 instead of lower. Hurricane Harbor was less busy, and people were less rude so I might just hoof the 3 hours and drive there.
I love this place but I hate their prices. I get the entrance fee. Seriously though for a table and chairs in the shade it's costing me $99. I don't even mind the food prices being so high but the Cabana and floatation 2 people$12?!?!? That's just silly. These people have to be making bank. We go at least once a summer. This summer twice so far. I do love how much fun we have.
