We received a warm welcome from the very friendly staff. Our room was romantic and spotlessly clean. A big plus is the free parking, especially since you usually have to pay a lot for it elsewhere. Five stars for our short stay in such a beautiful area!

If you’ve never been to Mammoth, just stay here! It’s called the village because it’s connected to the village. Walkable to stores, a tiki bar restaurant. Hotel is very nice, hot tubs & fire pits are nice! Rooms are luxurious and feel just like a lodge/cabin. Easy check in/parking. Friendly staff!

I have spent few days here enjoying Mamooth Lakes and the surrounding area! The Village Lodge is definitely one of the nicest place to stay in this area, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The gated garage is a plus and the area is just gorgeous. The heated pool with jacuzzi was a treat and we have enjoyed our staying here a lot.

My wife and I booked a stay at the village lodge for the end of august to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, due to a wildfire that broke out near our house just before the visit, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving town. The reason for my poor review is that when I called to see what could potentially be done about cancelling, there was NO RESPONSE from hotel staff despite multiple calls and voicemails. I think that because we had paid in full and were past the typical refund date, they simply didn’t care about our plight or circumstance. I was very disappointed with the level of care (or lack thereof) shown by their staff. It is safe to say we will not consider them as an option the next time we come to Mammoth.
