My kids and I came here for the first time on Memorial Day and it has become our favorite pool to go to around us and after our experience yesterday, I will only bring them there for now on. We took a break from swimming to have a snack and my 1 year old started choking on a chip. I did all the things I could think of to help him but he was still choking. At that point in a state of panic I ran him over to the lifeguard and asked for help. The lifeguard was calm when I couldn’t be and immediately did what needed to be done to help my son. An ambulance arrived about five minutes later and he was already coming back around by the time they got there. That life guard and all of the others in the office really came together quickly but calmly to help my son and I am so full of gratitude for each and every one of them. As a mom, you never want to have to see how a place like that would react in an emergency. But I did see it yesterday and they were so amazing. I don’t know that my son would still be here today if it weren’t for their quick action.
