About

Park featuring a circular swimming pool with a deep end, plus a playground and basketball courts.

Specific, consistently published pool temperatures for Moores Park Swimming Pool are not readily available. As an outdoor public pool, its water temperature typically fluctuates with ambient weather conditions and is generally unheated, providing a refreshing experience during warm weather.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The public pool is generally well-loved for its opulent Roaring '20s style, large size, refreshing water (though sometimes described as cold), and great location. It's free to enter, family-friendly with provided life vests for small children and swim tests for the deep end, and a source of many fond memories. Operational hours are specific: 1-4 pm and 5-8 pm, with Wednesday evenings after 5 pm being adults-only. Users are advised to bring their own chairs as none are provided. However, there are significant criticisms regarding inconsistent accessibility (some reports of it being closed or having incorrect online hours) and particularly strict, sometimes unfriendly enforcement of ID policies by staff, leading to patrons being scolded or denied entry.

Opulence from the roaring '20s is characteristic in the public pool's style.

Open 1-4pm and 5-8pm. The hours listed online aren't correct. Wednesday after 5pm is adults only. This pool is huge! There are always two lifeguards on duty. The little kids have to wear a (provided) life vest. The kids have to pass a swim test to go in the deep end under a certain height. The only cost is the taxes I have to pay to keep it open. They don't have any chairs, but you can bring your own. It's a little cold but feels great on a hot day.

Refreshing. Great location. Free. Greeter was not friendly, make sure you take your i.d. or you get scolded and not allowed in. I was treated like common trash and a 6 yr old for not having it. I had no idea, i just moved here from g.r. im a grown man taking my grown children to a pool.
