Stayed here one year ago today. Ate at the bar, service was good, people were very friendly and the food was very good. Stayed in the motel which was like a typical motel and the kind that I prefer. Had an issue with the billing of the room but it has been resolved. Location is in the mountains and very scenic. I would rather stay in place like this than in any city anywhere.

Rooms are ok. Showers were a mess. (Mold). But the location and the bar and grill are excellent. Great beer selection on tap and whiskey options were good. Food was surprisingly great! Everyone was very friendly. I recommend this place highly.

Once the Cubs Den, changed a little.. still the same welcoming vibe.. changing hands again, looking forward to seeing what the new owners do!!

We arrived shortly after 7pm. The owner greeted us, showed us our room, and offered to have the chef cook us a meal even though the kitchen was closed. They brought the food and wine to the room. I got the tenderloin steak, which they said they cut themselves, and it was absolutely excellent. Incredible hospitality, and a wonderful meal — much needed after a long journey. To receive such great service after arriving late is spectacular. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Food and drink prices are a little high, definitely trying to monopolize on skiers or such. Food was good but was close to $100 for three of us with one drink each.
