About

Clean facility for families with slides and a lazy river, plus attentive staff.

Specific temperature information for the City of Perryton Municipal Swimming Pool is not typically published. As a standard outdoor municipal pool, its water temperature is generally unheated and primarily influenced by the ambient air temperature and sun exposure during its operating season.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the swimming facilities are mixed. Positive feedback highlights amazing management, attentive lifeguards who prioritize safety, and a variety of attractions including areas for small children, big slides, a diving board, and a lazy river. Many appreciate having such a place for family summer activities. However, there are significant complaints regarding strict and seemingly arbitrary rules, such as a minimum temperature requirement for opening and 'no fun' policies that lead to frequent whistle-blowing for minor actions. Some reviewers also note perceived hypocrisy in rule enforcement by lifeguards, leading to a negative experience and a stated refusal to return. One review also mentioned an early season closure.

The Perryton swimming pool is by far the best one my family has visited. The management is amazing and the lifeguards are attentive and strictly observe the rules and their attention to the guests safety is top notch.

Nice little water park. Has section with little fountains and play slides for small children. There are also two big slides for teens and adults. Nice diving board area and a lazy river. Costs $6 for admission. Alas it is closing for the season already!

It's a nice pool, but I'm pretty sure one of the rules is no fun. You cant do anything without worrying about a whistle going off for something that doesnt make sense, especially when you had lifeguards going down toilet bowl 2 at a time and doing gainers. We wont be back.

Great pool. So glad we have this type of place for summer time activities for families in our town. Would definitely recommend.
