What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Lambert pool receives mixed reviews. Positive feedback highlights its affordability ($5), large size, and diverse amenities including diving boards, swim lanes, a kiddie pool with a fence, and dedicated adult swim times, making it suitable for various ages. However, there are significant negative experiences, particularly regarding management and staff professionalism. Complaints include unexpected closures without notice, lifeguards exhibiting unprofessional behavior (joking about re-closures and lack of refunds), and strict policies that some find unfriendly for toddlers (e.g., restrictions on arm floats for slides and banning small toys in the pool).

We took our 2 year old grandson and he could not go down the slide with him arm floats on and could not even go down with one of us. So then we go to pool next to the slide and play with his little action figures his hulk and spiderman and the lifeguard comes over to tell me he can't have toys in the pool. What do they expect little ones to do? I can understand a size limit on a toy or even a type of toy, but these were small, hard action figures. I will not be taking him back to this pool. At least at war memorial pool there is a kids frog slide. And buckets, that dump water too, allow the kids to have some sort of fun. Not toddler friendly at Lambert.
My husband and son went after a storm hit and they reopened the pool. 10 minutes after the readmission the lifeguards kicked everyone out again without there being thunder or rain. Then the lifeguards openly joked and laughed about charging people and then reclosing. They don’t offer refunds. Unprofessional attitudes- and taking advantage of families and young kids. It’s a shame the Rec center has been great for other things- but this pool isn’t being run well.
Very fun for hot days and only 5$ per person. I like that the baby/toddler pool has a fence so the little ones don't go running off. I also love that when there is a lot of families there they will do adult swim for 15 minutes to let adults swim without being crowded by kids
This pool has it all! Reasonably priced huge public pool with diving boards, swim lanes, adult swim time, kiddie pool & the best public pool slide for the money! Something for everyone. They have a concession stand with picnic tables. You will need to bring a blanket & maybe a chair.
I came to the pool and waited for 30 MINUTES ? it said it was gonna open at 1 and never opened. This is an outrage. Do NOT come to this pool. And also they left no notice that the pool wasn’t going to open!! LAMBERT MAYBE GIVE US A HEADS UP?
