Positive feedback highlights the pool's exceptional quality, excellent amenities such as two diving boards, a parent and toddler pool, pavilions for shade, a variety of snacks, and a strong presence of lifeguards, all seen as a testament to community dedication. However, several negative reviews express significant concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance, describing the pool perimeter as gross, stained with dirt and dead bugs, and suffering from chipping paint. Other complaints include a very negative experience with a pool party largely disrupted by a strict thunder policy, resulting in minimal swim time, as well as issues with undisciplined children and distracting traffic noise.
Reviews
The perimeter of the pool is gross. The edges are stained with dirt and dead bugs. It looks like it needs a good scrubbing. The paint is chipping off and gets on your arms if they rest on the side of the pool. Chunks of the floor paint are coming off. They have amenities like gazebos you can rent, but a dirty pool is always going to be known as a dirty pool.
Our locally community-owned pool exemplifies exceptional purposeful quality in every aspect. From the two diving boards providing excitement and thrills to the parent and toddler pool offering a safe and enjoyable space for our youngest swimmers, every detail is carefully considered. The pavilions provide welcome shade and relaxation, while the variety of snacks ensures everyone stays refreshed. With a plethora of lifeguards ensuring safety at all times, this pool truly showcases what our local community can achieve together. It's a testament to the dedication and commitment of our community members, past and present, and serves as a beacon of quality that will continue to benefit generations to come.
If you are planning a pool party for you kids, make sure there is zero chance of rain. I paid for a pool party for our sons 16th. It rained off and on but thundered in the distance so we had to get out for 20 minutes. Had 5 minutes to go until we could swim again, and it thundered in the distance so restart 20 minutes. Turned out we only got to swim for an hour and 15 minutes out of 5 hours we paid for. Ridiculous.
Very nice Community Pool! Went to an Aquacise Fundraiser for PeCo Rescue.
Pool was dirty and the kids in the pool were not being disciplined by the parents. The noise from the traffic from the road was distracting. We stayed for 30 minutes and left. We won't be back.
